We are continuing to offer our weekly Wednesday family explorations for 8 weeks in the Fall, Winter, and Spring. This year, our adventures will feature role-playing in connection with real creatures of the desert and their counterparts in fantasy. Be ready to imagine and role-play as we hunt for different fantasy/real creatures while following clues that will guide our little adventurers. We might need some volunteers to go ahead and pretend to be dragons or animals as we trek out! This day will also continue to include a hike, story, healthy snack, and a handmade craft.
To prepare and expand upon these explorations I will also be sending out a collection of additional homeschooling activities that are geared towards holistically engaging and expanding our students' involvement with each week's theme. Look at our Facebook page each week to find project ideas that will include all of the following: Math, Literacy, Science and Design, World Studies, Arts and Handcrafts, Nutrition, Physical Health, Wellness, Social Activities and Emotional Awareness.
